I was craving for Thai food tonight so me and my friend searched for a restaurant. To my surprise I found this Thai restaurant that I always wanted to go in Mong Kok, I only know the one in TSW but didn’t know that they opened one in MK. I was so happy so we went there quickly. The place was big and spacious with lots of people. My throat was a bit dry so I ordered a glass of chrysanthemum ginger honey, it was sweet and really helped with my throat. My throat was a bit dry so I ordered a glass of chrysanthemum ginger honey, it was sweet and really helped with my throat. My friend got the coconut drink with black pearl. The drink was smooth and creamy. The black pearl was chewy.
We were going to order Thai food but saw people around us had hotpot and since the weather was cold so we ordered hotpot as well. The tom yum kung soup was amazing! It smelled so good and I just couldn’t resist to have a sip first. It was flavourful. I got the beef set which was very filling. The beef slices and beef pieces were tender and tasty. The beef ball was meaty and yummy. I really enjoyed eating the veggie, they were fresh and tasted so good after absorbing the soup. I basically drank most of the soup and it wasn’t too spicy.
My friend ordered the coconut milk soup, it had some sour and chilli flavour. It also smelled so nice. The soup made everything very smooth. To my opinion, the flavour wasn’t as strong as the tom yum kung so I need to dip into their special made hotpot sauce to add a bit of flavour. The sauce was sour and spicy which I loved. The chicken and pork took a bit longer to cook and they tasted delicious, their texture was quite smooth and easy to chew.
We were very full at the end! But there was still dessert. They were nicely placed on a plate. The green one was warm, it was tasty and I liked the chewy texture. The white one was the coconut milk with sago. I loved this one very much, I really like the combination and it was sweet.
