Greyhound Cafe . Base on their marketing propaganda, proclaim" Life is a picture , full of pictures ,places , stories and good tasting recipes" , seems sending out positive message . The Greyhound cafe has just opened new store in Grand Century Place , four branches in total .If u ask me to rank the differences , I think the one where located in Habour City is the best and the one located in IFC is the worst . I think the IFC one is over commercial base on the service standard and the negligence on details .
Sliced Fresh Salmon in Thai Sauce
Anyway , back to the dining experience . For starter , we take sliced fresh salmons swim , foie gras toast and pork skewer. All are very stylish , the salmon come up with a very special Thai hot sauce , spicy with strong basil favor , a refreshing mixture. Gotta give it a credit, the spices , garlic and salmon complimates each other perfectly.
Foie Gras Toast
For the foie gras toast, it comes up with sliced strawberries . Umm... To be frank , this one is soso , the toast were not crispy in a thin crust and the foie gras were not smooth . Strawberries matched with Foie gras is a creative idea but it doesn't work . So let's skip it .
Pork skewer with toast
However , the pork skewer was unexpectedly good . I found it's quite arousing , maybe for the colorful presentation . The toast is crispy this time with satay sauce . The sauce is creamy with strong peanut paste . The skewer were perfectly grilled with very fresh vegetables . This cuisine hit the limelight .
Stir - Fried Spaghetti with Thai Anchovy
For the main dish , we take spaghetti with Thai anchovy and the fried Rice with pounded prawn. Spaghetti was stir - fried with thai anchovy , chili oil and peppercorns. Looks extremely spicy but the taste is alright actually , normal people can handle it since I am not a spicy lovers. Very different from normal pasta , their spaghetti is hard enough that I think is much more like linguini . I appreciate since I love pasta in hard texture .
Rice with Tiger Pounded Prawn
The rice comes with Chinese clear soup ( with some side dish ) and a kind of soy sauce , surly can lower the hotness of the food. The prawn is big and juicy , the portion was big enough too , their special sauce with different kinds of herbs and garlic urge the cuisine to be very tasty and delighted .
Mixed Berries Crepe Cake
For dessert , the crepe cake and stylish lemon tea is a must try item ! The crepe was covered in cream which was lovely and light and it was slightly sweetened but not too sweet. We pick the banana with chocolate favor and the mix berries . Both are incredible ! The cake texture is unique in between the crepe layers , there was delicious pieces of young coconut , creating fruitful temptation .

Signature Lemon Tea
For the lemon tea , when it is served, there is a glass containing some freshly squeezed lemon juice and frozen tea ice cubes so that the tea does not get diluted. Just remember to stir the lemon tea thoroughly as the lemon juice is at the bottom . The drink create natural lemon taste without the bitterness , permeated dense lemongrass sense too ! It holds its taste extremely impressive move.
