Been to many of hotels or Michelin-star or recommended cafes for tea set... This is my first time to try the Asian tea set ever...Mango Tree, one of the finest Thai resto in Hong Kong. For the savoury, highly recommend the curry in bread and the rice paper roll. The yellow curry tastes so rich which is a veggie dish. Also, the quality of the spring roll is really good. it filled with the shrimp and fresh vegetables... Taste so crispy and refreshing.
For the tea set, sweet is always my concern to separate a good or bad resto. As you all May know the Asian cake (Thai and Indonesian) is so so so sweet. The sweet here quite surprised me. The cake and dumplings is full of pandan and coconut flavour and not so sweet. Of course, the mango sticky rice cannot be missed.
For the drink option, it includes a cocktail as well... We order a glass of mojito and sangria which is a prefect match for the tea set.
The portion is so big here and suggest to skip the lunch and go for tea directly.
