Interestingly, most of my food reviews are about supper.This restaurant offered a huge variety of food. I was sadly working over time (like most sad Hong Kong people) and got hungry in the middle of the night. At 0:00, what could I find at Kwun Tong?! This restaurant offered a huge variety of food. I was sadly working over time (like most sad Hong Kong people) and got hungry in the middle of the night. At 0:00, what could I find at Kwun Tong?! Wandering around and I found this restaurant.
It was quite full and the prices were affordable. Then I went in and had "Spam and egg on rice" with hot milk tea. Even something I could cook, this could not be too bad. Came with a surprise, it was very good. Three slices of spams, 2 fried eggs and vege, it gave good quantity. But the main point is the "rice".
Maybe I was lucky or that was very late at night, the rice they were serving was just right to me. The rice was slightly dried and not "Soggy". You could see the rice in its shape, like a good fried rice.
I loved restaurant serving good rice. Good rice makes you want to eat more and to me this showed the chef has good taste! Although the food are good, the restaurant smells a bit off (again maybe in the middle of the night).
But at that point of time with nothing is opened, or either this or circle K, this restaurant is standing out and is recommended for all the unlucky workers at Kwun Tong whom need to work in the middle of the night! The food could give all the hard working people a pat on the back!!!
