My visit to Piccolo was an impromptu decision, but I have always seen food bloggers rave about how good the pizza is! I got there around noon, and the restaurant was nearly packed. Luckily for us, a table for two was still available. The restaurant has a cozy interior design, but I personally think this place is designed for casual quick meals as the tables are closely arranged like a DNA strand. I got there around noon, and the restaurant was nearly packed. Luckily for us, a table for two was still available. The restaurant has a cozy interior design, but I personally think this place is designed for casual quick meals as the tables are closely arranged like a DNA strand.

One word to summarize the food – mouth-watering! As there were only two of us, we ordered a pancetta pizza with egg and sausage and tomato sauce pasta. The crust of the pizza was perfectly thin and chewy, accompanied with a well balanced of cheese, pancetta, tomato and egg. The combination of the ingredients is like a full English breakfast on a pizza, which I adore! It is one of the best pizzas I’ve had in Hong Kong. The pasta was mediocre, not as memorable as the pizza.

The taste of the pizza is definitely comparable to the one served at 208 Duecento Otto, with an affordable price range. Picocolo will be a restaurant to re-visit and their chicken wings are on top of my to-try list!
