Killing me softly - the name of a song that has been on my playlist for the longest time. This turned out to be the name of a Durian Tofu flavour kakigori (HKD 118). I really enjoyed this flavour combo, tofu and durian went surprisingly well together. With bits of durian at the centre of the shaved ice and tofu curd in the bottom half, it didn’t taste bland at all, and I didn’t even any of the condense milk they offered on the side. This turned out to be the name of a Durian Tofu flavour kakigori (HKD 118). I really enjoyed this flavour combo, tofu and durian went surprisingly well together. With bits of durian at the centre of the shaved ice and tofu curd in the bottom half, it didn’t taste bland at all, and I didn’t even any of the condense milk they offered on the side. The texture of their shaved ice was also quite soft though still not as soft as shari shari.
Overall, despite their kakigoris being on the pricer side, if there’s no queue, I would consider them a great option for kakigori especially when I am down for flavours like black sesame and chocolate!
