It is sad that this is the only Gindaco left in HK , so whenever I visit Taikoo Shing, I make sure I stop here.Environment & Hygiene:Even though this store has been opened for quite some time already, I think it is kept up quite well in both of these aspects. Even though this store has been opened for quite some time already, I think it is kept up quite well in both of these aspects.
Taste & Value:Although it's been a long time since I visited, the Takoyaki was just as good as I remember it to be. Tastewise, I think they tasted the same as the ones that I have had in Japan. Of course the octopus in the ones in Japan are a lot bigger; big to the point where they actually stick out of the balls, so even though the octopus in these balls were smaller, I was glad that it had a reasonably sized chunk inside each ball that I could taste. You could get just Takoyaki for $36 or have them + a drink for $41, which is what I did.
The Matcha drink tasted better from what I remembered. The drink wasn't sweet and its matcha taste was very rich, so it was acceptable.
Service:The dude, who took my order was efficient and had a good attitude.
Final Verdict:
This is my favourite place to have Takoyaki here in HK, so I will keep on visiting!
