Me and my family went on Sunday for the lunch buffet. The buffet was great in some aspects and not too great in some others.... Appetizers (including Seafood and Sushi)I was fairly impressed with the seafood selection given that they did serve OYSTERS. No other lunch buffets that I know of serve them so that was a bonus. The NZ oysters were well shucked and although the oysters were not exceptionally tasty, they were fine. As usual, there was a sushi bar and Saba fish was one of the options

The NZ oysters were well shucked and although the oysters were not exceptionally tasty, they were fine. As usual, there was a sushi bar and Saba fish was one of the options, which was another bonus for me. The quality of the sushi was fair but not very fresh. Aside from that, the appetizers ( salads, cheese selection, etc) was ok, nothing exceptional
Mains
There was alot of chinese dishes and less Western or other types of cuisines. I really enjoyed the Salmon head fish soup which had enoki mushrooms and egg tofu. It was boiled individually in a pot and was very tasty. The steak was medium rare and appeared to be very tasty, but did indeed lack flavor. All the other main selections was nothing unusual, it was ok.
Dessert
I very much enjoyed the dessert selection, it was my favorite part of the buffet. It offered your variety of cakes, panna cotta, etc. But also had fresh crepes, waffles, soufles, ice cream, chocolate fondue fountain and ice cream. The quality of the desserts was also very tasty and I very much enjoyed the soufles and cream soda panna cotta. The texture was great and it wasn't too sweet for the pallet. Don't forget, there was also chinese dessert!
Atmosphere
It was extremely busy on Sunday, as such given the traffic,food presentation was definately comprimised. During the lunch sitting, I found that it was too crowded and I was not able to enjoy my meal as much due to the atmosphere.
Overall
Oysters were impressive, with decent variety of apps and mains, but the dessert was amazing.
