Anyone who knows me knows that I love Shanghainese food, and especially dumplings! So when I found out that there was a resturant so close to my house that served this I just had to go and give it a try!We ordered three different types of dumplings this time, the soup dumplings, pan fried dumplings and the chili steamed dumplings. We ordered three different types of dumplings this time, the soup dumplings, pan fried dumplings and the chili steamed dumplings. Usually my fav is the soup dumplings but this time the chili dumplings was a stand out for me. I think it’s because the sauce had a little bit of sweetness to it which complemented the rest of the flavours really well.
We decided to get the appetizer palate so that we could try a bit of everything. You can choose a total of 5 different appetizers from a variety of eight.
We also tried the dan dan noodles which was such a big portion!! And soup was very tasty, with hints of fragrant peanut flavour and a little spicy.
Also really wanted to try their sour spicy soup so decided to get a small bowl to share. Nice balance of flavours for sure and super appetizing.
