I think you must be a beef lover (like me) in order to find this place really remarkable. First we had the 盛八野菜沙律to start with before eating all the barbequed items. I don't see any special ingredients added to this bowl of salad but its really fresh and the dressing is really good. Their 一口牛is an absolute must try - very juicy, very tender, and as this dish is named, eat it in one bite then u'll realize what i truly mean. 厚切鹽燒牛舌and 牛胸腹are also highly recommended.I suggest hiring 1 or 2 more
I suggest hiring 1 or 2 more people to improve their pace & service. Maybe having a more experienced waiter / waitress would also help.
I don't think there are currently too many Japanese yakiniku restaurants in Hong Kong (at least not that I know of) and I've only been to this one and 和宴. Comparing the two, 和宴is definitely much more expensive with fewer choices, and food quality of both are very close. I guess the dishes are suppose to be small for general yakiniku dining as this is what I find similar at both 盛八and 和宴.
