My families and I had dinner in a Chinese restaurant called"Tao Yuen hotpot restaurant"(淘園火鍋館) where located Wai Ching Street,Jordon(偉晴街) & very near to the element(園方).We ordered a Sichuan pepper chicken hotpot(淘園特式雞煲) (half bird半隻/HKD$148)Unlike the ordinary chicken hotpot with thick tangy sauce,it is like roasted or grilled spicy chicken which packed with more intense flavours.Fresh,lively seafoods are also provided.We ordered large size abalones from Dailian(大連鮑)(HKD$45/pcs) & large size raz

We ordered large size abalones from Dailian(大連鮑)(HKD$45/pcs) & large size razor clams(蟶子皇)(HKD$45/pcs).Both of them are very fresh,firm and sweet.
The fresh squid(鮮魷片)(HKD$39) is quite tender,not rubbery at all.
I highly recommended the homemade wontons(自家制鮮蝦雲吞)(HKD$56/8pcs) as plenty of fresh,firm shrimps inside.The filling is very flavorful,bouncy and springy.It made by minced pork and mushed shrimp.
We also ordered US sliced beef(美國肥牛)HKD$88.
I like the beef is not too fat with moderate fat content.Black beef tripe(新鮮黑栢葉)HKD$52
The black tripe is tougher than that of white tripe.The black ones is more suitable for simmering or stewed.
There is a sashimi bar with a Japanese chef in charge.Not many Chinese restaurants provide Japanese sashimi.
Although the interior of this restaurant is not very posh,it is tidy and neat comparing with other Chinese eateries.
However,the staff are not very proactive.
