This place is just around the corners from Via Tokyo where the lines are still long especially at night. I came here specifically because my friends really liked this place and were bummed when they closed, so I came to check it out. The desserts here are HK style and the choices are abundant but I guess they are primarily famous for their sawdush desserts. Chocolate Sawdust Pudding ($26) - the dessert didn't look very nice when it arrived as chunks of the chocolate crusts had fallen off. The pudding was already cut into 6 little pieces, which was nice and convenient. The texture was very hard and ice cream-like. While it was a good dessert, I wasn't sure if I liked my sawdust pudding to be like this hard.
Mango Pancake ($28) - a favorite classic HK dessert of mine! The pancake was great here with big chunks of mangoes on the inside. The mangoes were sweet and this dessert was delicious to enjoy.
Overall, I felt like the desserts were good but nothing extraordinary. It's not something you can't find elsewhere.
