Finally had the chance to order food from Tristar a Taiwanese restaurant located in Causeway Bay near the Causeway Bay Plaza. Have heard some good reviews online of this restaurant, that the owner was from Taiwan and wanted to bring the traditional Taiwanese style cooking to Hong Kong.The restaurant is not vet big, even though it takes a full floor. The restaurant is not vet big, even though it takes a full floor. Basically the dining area is right outside the lift. As I was quite busy, I ordered takeaway from the restaurant. It took about 20 mins to prepare, it wasn’t too long as I was able to be seated at one of the bar tables facing the street by the window.
Even though I ordered takeaway the food were still hot and steamy when I got to my office. The packing of the fried chicken was quite thoughtful, as they opened the corner of the box so that air can sip out in order to prevent the fried chicken from going soft and not crispy. The garlic pork appetiser was quite good too, great for garlic lovers! As for the beef noodle soup had thick white noodles and the beef brisket was quite soft and some were beef tendons too.
All and all the food was a satisfying dinner in the office with a compliment of bubble tea as well from Tristar!
