Issyoukenmen has been in my hood for quite some time, but I never got to try it as there are only a few seats in the restaurant, and there is always a queue during busy dining hours. Since I finished work and got home early yesterday, I decided to try it out before the dinner hours started.And this is probably the best decision I made for the day! And this is probably the best decision I made for the day! This Sakura Shrimp Tsukemen was absolutely amazing! For HKD$83, you got a huge portion of al dente ramen as tsukemen. But the best part was definitely the sakura shrimp broth! The broth was overloaded with sakura shrimp! The shrimps were so delicious and crunchy! And they made great toppings for the tsukemen. The broth had a strong and enjoyable flavor, yet it wouldn’t make you feel thirsty if you take a sip of it. Fantastic!
Not to miss are the two slides of BBQ pork and the soft boiled egg. The pork was perfectly grilled, yum! And the soft boiled egg? Runny and delicious!
Now that I realize how amazing Issyoukenmen is, I would definitely visit more often!
