It was a Thursday night around 20:00 and I I had to take a ticket and wait 20 minutes to be seated.Once I was seated I already knew what I wanted to order from looking at the menu during my wait. I went with the Grilled pepper pork, Dan Zia noodles, and okra with Japanese style.Everything arrived within 5-10 minutes. Everything arrived within 5-10 minutes.
Grilled pepper pork($68): The pieces were extremely fatty which I don’t mind, but the fat was just chewy and not melt in your mouth like butter. The little meat that was on there was extremely over cooked, dry, tough, and chewy.
Okra with Japanese style($38): The okra was softly boiled so it still had a nice crunch and were just a little bit slimy. The tomato at the bottom is like a tomato relish so it is very sweet. Wish I would have had rice or something to pair this with. Could be a great palate cleaner for your meal, but as a stand alone it was limited.
Dan Zai Noodles($28): I was so excited for these noodles and ended up greatly disappointed. The noodles were not cooked all the way so they were hard and chewy. The minced meat itself had almost no flavor and the broth was average as well. The dish had no components to it that were bursting with flavor and it was an overall disappointment.
The service was nice, but actual contact with workers is very limited.
