The 3 OR Troopers decided to meet up for a very special celebratory dinner! We had a triple celebration as godbro XO and Ken gor gor have both risen in the Hall of Gourmet and I received my first Editor's Choice review! I am the small potato in the group, so I let XO and Ken gor gor pick the venue, and they chose Mini Club in Causeway Bay! Mini Club was the perfect venue for our celebration as it is a bar and restaurant with plenty of drinks choices and delicious food as well! So, the 3 O
As soon as I walked out from the elevator, I was attracted to the inverted Eiffel Tower that was hanging from the ceiling!
Since we are having a celebratory dinner, we each ordered a drink! I chose a cocktail that's from the new molecular cocktails menu! The drink is fun and tasty at the same time!

For our food choices, we decided to go with a few extravagant seafood choices followed by a couple bar snacks!
The first item on the list was the Seafood Platter, which consisted of half a crab, half a lobster, a couple abalones, prawns, mussels, some clams and whelks!

Next, we had some oysters, XO and Ken preferred crisp oysters, and I like creamy ones, so they had the Brittany oysters, while I had the Premium Irish oysters.

After the two fresh seafood items, next came the bar snacks! The server was very effecient and cleared our plates that were filled with empty shells and replaced them with clean ones!
The bar snacks at Mini Club also carry a visual appeal, first, we had the Fried Seafood Ferris Wheel, where the presentation was very dainty with seafood items separated into little baskets on the ferris wheel! Then, we had the Deep Fried Chicken with Trio Sauces, where the chicken pieces were served in a bucket and the sauces were presented in 3 syringes. The 3 syringes looked a little wacky, and we got to play with our food as three grown adults!

Fried Seafood Ferris Wheel: The fried oysters, shrimp, fish cake, and crab claw each had their own basket on the ferris wheel, and the calamari was spread out throughout the baskets. I had the fried oyster, shrimp, fish cake, and calamari, which all had a crisp, tasty batter, and the seafood was plump and not overcooked at all! The creamy sauce that came with the ferris wheel had the right amount of acidity to balance the greasiness from the fried seafood!

Thanks to godbro XO and Ken gor gor's choice of venue for our celebratory dinner, I had a fun night at Mini Club with its eye-catching decor, quirky molecular cocktail, and visually-appealing snacks! Since we placed our order before 8pm, we also enjoyed the happy hour discount on all the food and drinks, so even our pockets were happy!
