Came back to try the Coconut Chicken Rice Noodle Soup ($46 during 12.00~17.00) and was again delighted with this find.The chicken soup is delicately fragrant with coconut, and there is a light sprinkle of dried coconut when served. The addition was subtle, and elevated each mouthful with a little burst of coconuttiness. With this soup, the taste of the chicken came across a lot more compared with the herbal soup that this restaurant is also famous for. And the chicken meat was smooth and tender as seems to be the standard here. It was a mixture of breast and leg meat.
A satisfying lunch. Plus I overheard someone from the next table order a mala duck (blood?) soup. This, I must return to try.
I must add, the waiter was a really courteous and polite. Even though she was continuously busy running around, all of her conversations were kind and friendly, even when she had to chase after customers to check their temperatures. What a great lady, and I really appreciated this service. Thank you!
