I'm not fan of restaurants under Castelo Concepts but without expectation Ollies is a surprise. I saw Kim&Co coffee poster and was thinking where I saw this...and I remember Butcher and Baker. Upon sitting down and looking at the menu, I was surprised Ollies is under Castelo Concepts. Without hesitation, we googled Castelo Concepts and wow there are so many restaurants under Castelo Concepts . Based on my bad experience in Butcher and Baker, I was really expecting anything from Ollies. Order the
Starter is potato soup, it is so creamy with mini mashed chucks of potatoes. The soup was served hot. After my first sip of the soup, I know it is different from Butcher and Baker. You can taste the soup is homemade and not can opened.
Main is Linguine Chicken pasta, it is so delicious! Spaghetti texture is chewy and firm. The sauce is not heavy with garlic taste. Tomatoes were cooked perfectly and it was sweet. Chicken meat is tender and juicy, crispy on the outside. One thing I don't like about the pasta is when I reached the bottom, I see lots of butter and oil....not healthy pasta but once a while is ok.
Dessert is a bite size Chocolate Cake. Strong chocolate taste and the mint leaves made the cake less sweet.
