Boyfriend and I noticed this place a little while ago when we had just finished dinner. It served Taiwanese food and it seemed pretty popular. Reviews seemed positive so we made a note to give it a try on another day.The shop is not very big and seating is very cramped and close togehter. You have to share a table with strangers. The decor had a psuedo vintage look with posters of old ads on the walls. Menu is in Chinese only. There is no English. Payment is cash only and you pay at the cashier

Bubble Tea ($10). If you order food, drinks are $10. So, I ordered a bubble tea as they didn't seem to offer free water or tea. This was a pretty weak tasting tea with soggy bland tapioca pearls.
Marinated Beef Short Ribs with Rice ($55). This tasted as unappetizing as it looked. The rice was mushy and over cooked. The beef was very tough and a bit on the bland side.
Beef Shank Noodles ($49). This fared better than the rice. The noodles were a bit on the soggy side but at least the broth had a rich beef taste. The beef shank was sliced in thick slices as opposed to the more widely known thin slices. Beef was bit tough and the marinade was a bit weak.
Fried Chicken and Chinese Sausage ($38). Boyfriend and I shared a snack of fried chicken and Chinese sausage. The sausage tasted ok and didn't have much fat content. The fried chicken was bit dry and the coating wasn't crunchy at all.
A popular place probably due to the inexpensive price. Food came out fast. Service was ok but a bit rushed. I guess they needed to get people in and out as fast as possible. Food wasn't very good and not really worth a revisit as Mong Kok has way too many food options to return to something so mediocre.
