It’s small but eclectic. It’s not just a cafe serving coffee and light food, but an eatery with main dishes, and most known for their bakery in particular the sourdough. The roasted spring chicken with beer sauce is a rustic and hearty main course, succulent chicken packed with loads of flavor from the spices seasoned generously over the chicken with a dominant cumin aroma. Would’ve liked the a crispier chicken skin though. It’s served with lots of roasted vegetables that soaked up all the chicken flavors.

w/ vegan cashew cream cheese $85
A thick and big slice of sourdough that has a crunchy crust but the sourness is very much overpowered by the intense flavor from the balsamic and their homemade vegan cream cheese which has a distinctive fermented aroma that is not very pleasant for my palate but it’s just personal preference.

Caramelized soft bread pudding $65
Bread is such a versatile ingredient that its texture can go from crispy toast chips to as soft as a pudding. Well soaked in sweet liquid long enough and it can transform into such creamy dissolving pudding. A little torch work to finish the golden crust which personally would prefer a bit more caramelization and crisp. The super sharp lemon sorbet is normally too tangy for my liking but it’s much needed to cut through the heavy sweet load from the creamy pudding. It’s such an indulgent dessert that is meant to be shared with a buddy.
