My colleague and I walked around harbour city after finishing work on a Monday evening. We came across with this burger restaurant with a sick sea-front view, and we decided to give it a try as we both were craving for some good juicy burgers to heal our Monday Blue. The food was freshly prepared, and the burgers were SO HUGE! The beef patty in the burgers were incredibly juicy and done medium-well. The gold standard was filled with cheese and other toppings, and I thought it was one of the best burger that I have ever had in Hong Kong.
Honbo offers various bun types, and we asked the Honbo 2.0 to be served with lettuce bun, which makes my friend feeling less guilty about all the calories intake. The Honbo 2.0 with lettuce bun was pleasantly surprising, and I would really recommend it to those who want to try something different. I had fixed feeling for the sides. The cheese fries, I thought, was really done-well. It was crispy and covered with plenty of cheese.
The Buffalo wings were a good call for anyone who loves to have some chili elements in their meals.
In all, the food surprised me and exceeded my expectations in many ways. I would definitely go back to try out their other meals sometime again. Last but not least, they got fire music playlist - huge kudos to that too.
