Some saying food served here was pretty good while some saying not worthy at all and told me not to visit. To be a fair judge, I decided to come try it myself and see which side I'm on🤣
It was a friday night. We made reservation online beforehand so no need queuing. The cafe was quite packed, tables were way too close for comfort. We could thoroughly hear the conversation of the two tables next to us even they spoke in super low voice, so not a good place for chatting.
I ordered the okinawa brown sugar pork cartilage set. It came with miso soup, sake soft boiled egg, pickled ume plum rice, marinated eggplants and pickled radish. Food was served in fancy tableware, very presentable👍🏻 But to be fair, food portion was on a smaller side. Not a big eater but this portion couldn't fill me up. My stomach still felt kinda empty even I finished the whole set (skipped the soup and egg). Also food didn't give me a WOW, not bad but just average. I'd expect more with this price🫤
On the whole, I think it's just a good place for taking pics to share on IG. But not a place that I'd come over again cuz it's overrated and overpriced💸
