Cocomo is a Japanese style cafe located inside Yata department store. It's actually located at the food court area but as it's an actual restaurant, there is 10% service charge. Prices are expensive and they serve pasta and rice sets.

Veggie Pasta Piatto ($68). This came with a drink of coffee, tea or orange juice. Originally wanted orange juice but they had run out so I had an ice tea.

The set came with mushroom olive oil pasta, spinach and potato croquette, Italian tomato salad and baked vegetables in pumpkin cream sauce. I was surprised the food was pretty good. The pasta was al dente and fragrant. The spinach and potato croquette was a bit to oily but the filling was creamy and soft. The Italian tomato salad had slices of mozarella. It was ok. Nothing amazing about it. But the thing I loved the most was the baked vegetables in pumpkin cream sauce. The sauce was cheesy goodness. I couldn't get enough.

Boyfriend ordered a side of fries and these were great. Crispy exterior. Soft interior.

The food was pretty good. Portion size was ok for women. A bit too small for guys. A nice option for a meal in a mall setting.
