I know there are many restaurants and many cuisines in Wan Chai, so I would like to have my lunch in this district.Today, I do not want to go to HK stlye restaurant and I hope to eat noodle in Laksa. so I decided to try Katong Laksa Prawn Mee. The restaurant is very small but it was rush in lunch time. Today, I do not want to go to HK stlye restaurant and I hope to eat noodle in Laksa. so I decided to try Katong Laksa Prawn Mee. The restaurant is very small but it was rush in lunch time. I found out that the restaurant has a minium charges in lunch time that is $53.
From the menu, it provides laksa, prawn mee, Singaporean snacks and curry rice. If you do not choose curry rice, you can choice other rice , i.e. chicken rice or beef rice etc. But I go to this restaurant, I hope I would like to eat laksa or prawn mee.
Finally, I choose a Prawn Mee Supreme. There have Prawn, Pork, Fish Cake and Short Rib on the noodle. The soup is very strong in taste that have pig bone and prawn to cook. And I felt that some saltly. The prawn was fresh prawn and the short rib have some fat and thin meat inside. Rib and pork were chewy and fish cake was soft to eat. The prawn mee also had some bean curf inside.
In this dinning, I didn't order any beverage because I hope to try the soup only. I think the soup is very important except food, because the soup is the sprit of the noodle.
