I didn't have a good impression of this 茶餐廳, as i always pass back and noticed not very crowded and on openrice the reviews are not that fantastic...Passed by this morning, and surprisingly saw that it was quite pack, and thus ventured into the cafe.Service-wise, not good! the waitress apparently took out the food menu from the drawer below and threw onto my table (as if I did something wrong, and my boss threw the file on my work-desk.. 哈哈). next surprise, she took out a tissue/serviettes and

Service-wise, not good! the waitress apparently took out the food menu from the drawer below and threw onto my table (as if I did something wrong, and my boss threw the file on my work-desk.. 哈哈). next surprise, she took out a tissue/serviettes and put it on the table and threw the spoon & fork on it... its just so inpolite, and i know this is not a hi-class restuarant, but come mon.... services are very important in today's context... what is so difficult about doing it in proper fashion and makes the world a better place?!!..... So much for the service, and i'm not impressed... plenty of room for staff improvements.
Food servicing, timing was good, I waited less than 5mins, and food is served hot. (take note that the restuarant is about 60-65% full, and i can tell that serving staffs are more than sufficient as they just 'looked' busy, and not really busy.
Food-wise, 公仔面 is just 公仔面, everywhere is the same... and same it goes for the sausage & fried egg... but i have to comment on the bread & coffee... the bread is very crispy, very different from those i had before - which i would say its good. As for the coffee, it is a NO for me... somehow i find the coffee tastes sour, and it came across as they kept adding coffee-powder on-top of the existing load to make more coffee... it just seems that the one making coffee is doing it mechanically without any level of sensing... or maybe it is just the lousy quality of coffee.
Price-wise, quite decent. HKD25 for a full-breakfast... no complains.
Environment & Cleanliness, i would rate it 4.5 out of 5 from my naked eye. everything looks tidy, clean, dry and staffs uniform with aprons are neat and tidy, even the wash-bowl uncle looks clean, utensils are also stainless, table is clean and dry. the interior is quite spacious which have a lot of seatings inside... i think it can house 100-125 people (my guesti-mation/very rough estimation).
One last comment, somehow i find that the purple color signboard is not doing justice to the shop. suggest have the color changed as purple just cannot attract customers to go in.
Overall, not the most idea place to dine, but will go again if other cafes are overloaded... if any 三和餐廳 staffs/boss sees this, please review with your management, and i believe you will have more business coming your way. You just need 1 or 2 things to standout and differentiate yourself with the competitors and customers will come your way!
