As much as I love eating out, I am not a fan of staying in line for hours so I usually wait till the hype to die down a bit before visiting super popular restaurants. Heard that the queue is still long even though it has opened for a while, I went there with my foodie buddy at 9:30am on a Sunday morning. We had to order happy pancake (original flavour) for our first visit. It was still a 15-minute wait since the everything was made to order.
The pancakes looked plump and thick, with a scoop on ice cream on top and syrup on the side. They were incredibly fluffy, soft and light but still pretty filling. The slob of cream totally stole the show with it’s airy texture and pronounced honey flavour. Every single bite of the cream on pancake took me to cloud 9 and we couldn’t stop going wow.
The original flavour was so good that we had to go back for more the week after. We had milk tea with granola and strawberry cheesecake flavours in one go. The pancakes were perfectly done like the first time but the milk tea sauce was too milky and the cheesecake cream was a bit overpowering. We reckon the original flavour was the best and will definitely be back for more.
