A few friends ate dinner at Osteria last night. The starters were decent. I enjoyed the steak tartare. The artichokes were just average. We had pizza, a seafood pasta and gnocchi for mains and a modest bottle of wine. The service was good but the place is very loud, probably due to poor acoustics in the design. Overall, the experience was fine. The problem was the price: Even after our 30% Open Rice discount, we paid $800 per head which seems steep by comparison to other Italian restauran
