this was the only private kitchen that accepted our reservation for friday night when we called on a friday afternoon. the staff who made the reservation was friendly, reminded us that they only accept cash and got us to made our dinner orders over the phone. i must say the staff very nice, courteous and efficient. made our experience lots more bearable.the entrance was quite easy to find with previous reviewer's thoughtful pictures (thanks). the place was quite small and had ventilation problem

the entrance was quite easy to find with previous reviewer's thoughtful pictures (thanks). the place was quite small and had ventilation problems. our clothes were smelling like their food by the time we got home and the still smelt like their kitchen this morning.

we got tomato sauce prawns and cream sauce clams for entrée. the clams were alight with too much salt and some sand, while the prawns were fresh but the sauce was quite bland.

next up was mushroom soup with truffle oil. for some reasons, truffle oil didnt taste very truffle-ish. it was more like olive oil if the cute waiter didn't confirm. this is probably the best dish for the dinner.

foie gras was the biggest disappointment. the outside was crispy but the inside was overcooked and grainy. tasted very liver-ish.

main course was seabass and ribeye. the sauce was too salty for the fish, but the fish was done veyr nicely, with crispy skin and soft flaky meat. the ribeye was slightly cold and the red wine sauce very bland. we were glad to have the mustard (very basic mustard). these can with long beans and baby carrots, very ordinary.

we got the panacotta and flambé strawberries for dessert. both were quite decent.

overall, this place did not blow me away. the ingredients were so-so, and the cooking was nothing spetacular. plus the terrible ventilation and noisy table in the room, it made the experience very unpleasant. for 880/2pax, it was not worth the trouble. you can find better elsewhere for sure.
