Old school Hong Kong style restaurant

Brilliant restaurant with the old school feel that sometimes you crave for. Came with three friends and sat on a table right outside the restaurant. Waiter comes over and plops over four bowls, chopsticks, and spoons in a large metal pan and a large jug of piping hot tea. As we cleaned out utensils, we look around and see how no frills this place is......table on a sidewalk right across from a basketball court and a gas station haha. We order 2 small roast pigeons, which were perfectly cooked as

Brilliant restaurant with the old school feel that sometimes you crave for. Came with three friends and sat on a table right outside the restaurant. Waiter comes over and plops over four bowls, chopsticks, and spoons in a large metal pan and a large jug of piping hot tea. As we cleaned out utensils, we look around and see how no frills this place is......table on a sidewalk right across from a basketball court and a gas station haha. We order 2 small roast pigeons, which were perfectly cooked as the meat was tender and the skin was crisp, stir fried brocolli with squid, garlic stir fried cabbage, fried fish which was amazing with the sweet soy sauce and spring onions, stir fried ribs in black bean sauce, with the kind of sauce that's very cantonese, very thick and perfect with white rice, as well as chicken wings stuffed with cuttlefish, very crispy on the outside. The food was great, waiters were extremely friendly and you can't seem to find many of the places anymore in Hong Kong. Definitley old school.........will come back for more!
