It was hot outside with a high UV index of 9 and I was out at Mong Kok trying my best to enjoy the holiday despite the blazing heat. I spotted this quaint and little shop amidst all the other bubble tea shops right next to it: Holiday Tea, Charlie's Tea Bar, and HEERETEA. This small shop had no queue so I went in. Since it's my first time coming here, I tried one from their signature menu and chose the Purple Sweet Potato Latte ($25). While waiting, I browsed at their tiny shop. The wall decors are filled with false blue and pink baby's breath flowers with photos of a Korean actor and singer.
Before I got my order, I saw that the staff who handled my drink actually threw away bad syrup when she noticed it. She washed it off their mixing container and replaced it with a fresh batch. Now that's customer service for you. My cup was ready in no less than a minute later.
I've never tried tea latte drinks before so I'm not sure what to expect. The drink itself was fine. It was neither too sweet nor was it too bland. The potato latte flavor was certainly there and the milk tasted heavily creamy but not overpoweringly. It certainly helped me with today's blazing heat.

One thing I noticed towards the end of my drink was that there were tiny taro cubes at the bottom of my cup and my! were they generously given. I deeply appreciate the service the slightly blonde dyed and short-haired staff gave to me today.
