I live around Sai Wan Ho so occasionally come by Shaukeiwan Main Street East which is well known for food. On Lee is a time-tested stalwart and often sees long snaking queues during lunch time and weekends but fear not, they actually have quite an organized system of efficiently getting butts onto empty seats and the wait time isn't as long as it may seem! It's very easy to find as it's directly opposite the temple and a short walk from Shaukeiwan MTR Exit B.Faves here include:Toast with butter

Toast with butter (奶油西多): The white bread is toasted to a crisp and comes with heart-stopping generous thick slices of butter. This costs $12 and is the most popular side dish.
Tossed noodles in soy sauce with sliced beef brisket and fish cake (切腩片头捞粗): The noodle is the flat yellow egg noodles that in Southeast Asia is called "Mee Pok". It's tossed with dark soy sauce and fragrant oil and topped with sliced beef brisket (this can be a bit tough and I'm not the biggest fan so I usually just order the noodles with fish cake). The fish cake is OK and doesn't taste as springy as one would like but at least the serving is generous. This is $42 for both beef brisket and fish cake and $34 for fish cake only (what I usually order). If you're not a fan of yellow egg noodles you can order rice noodles or "lo hor" 捞河 instead.
The drinks here I must warn are expensive!! I usually get either iced lemon tea or iced milk tea which is $17. If you come with your significant other you can share.. haha.
Service is OK - efficient and not rude. Note though that unless you have an 8 person group you will most likely have to share so make sure the waiter doesn't mix up your order with the other parties sharing the table and always check the printed receipt!
Cleanliness is actually pretty good - but given the prices, I guess this is the least they could do!
