i was really looking forward for their congee, as they only open till 3pm, it has to be a special trip for a taste.the people there were the same but the food has rather derailed ... i was utterly disappointed. we had beef and fish belly congee and beef & meat ball congee. when i went before the fish belly was lightly sauted with wine before mixing with the congee, the congee would have a hint of wine but now it is just like any normal congee from the high street. the beef & meat ball congee

on the plus side, staff were really friendly and there seems no or little msg in the congee.
rather sad that the food has gone downhill, i hope they will improve to be able to carry the 妹記 legacy.
