Not worth the wait...

Visited during CNY holiday, added to a seating wait list... Patiently waited at a nearby bar for a full hour only to receive a call from the restaurant host advising that “can not accommodate your party due to a lack of food.” Hmmm.... I understand supply deliveries will have been constrained due to CNY, however, I expect much better planning by the establishment. I should not have to wait one full hour to be told that I can not eat at your restaurant. If this is the level of service receive

I understand supply deliveries will have been constrained due to CNY, however, I expect much better planning by the establishment. I should not have to wait one full hour to be told that I can not eat at your restaurant. If this is the level of service received before even being seated at a table, I can not imagine the level of poor service I might receive if I actually ate there. No offer to book/reserve a place at a future date without a wait. Won’t waste my time (literally) with this place in the future. If they ask you to wait for a seat when you arrive (longer than 15 - 20 min), best to just find another place to eat. The management clearly has not yet learned how to manage their inventory with demand. Lots of work to do in terms of staff training to manage poor (potential) customer experiences.
