My families and I went to a newly opened restaurant called ''Multi taste'' (億饍) located in 4/F, Hamilton Commercial Building, 558-560 Nathan Road, Mong Kok (旺角彌敦道558-560號譽發廣場4樓) .It specializes in serving South east asian cuisines which includes Thai , Vietnamese and Chinese Guangdong Cuisines with NO MSG is added in all its food(主要為無味精粵(廣東),越,泰菜). A healthy option for eating out.The decor of the restaurant is quite modern. An equipped cocktail bar, floor to glass ceiling windows on the one side

The decor of the restaurant is quite modern. An equipped cocktail bar, floor to glass ceiling windows on the one side of the restaurant and transparent glass crystal ball chandeliers.
But when you look up the ceiling, a showstopper appears in front of your eyes--a very traditional Chinese style wooden floor beams/ joist (橫樑).
Grilled grey mullet with lemonglass (香茅泰式明燼烏頭) HKD$148
The grey mullet cooked in the fish broth with various of veggie(tomatoes, shaggy ink cap mushrooms, cabbages, aubergines, dry mushrooms) and some minced pork on the top.
And the fish only seasoned with little condiments and natural spices(lemonglass and chilli).
The propane underneaths keeping the dish nice and warm while you are diving in.
This cooking style is quite healthy and customers can savour the original tastes of the grey mullet instead overpowering by a bunch of strong condiments and seasonings.
Vietnamese deep fried spring rolls(越式炸春卷) HKD$45/ 6 pcs 件
Instead of using conventional spring roll pasta, these Vietnamese spring rolls use the flat rice paper (米紙) to wrap the minced pork, shredded veggies and vermicelli fillings into nice cylinder shaped.
It will be even better if the flat rice paper is crispier.
Vietnamese style fried rice with seafood (越式海鮮炒飯) HKD$72
The portion is hugeeeeeee.
Each rice is nicely separated from each other.
There are plenty of seafood.i.e. Prawn, squid, chopped crab sticks...etc.
I loveeeeee the large size prawns.Very springy and bouncy.
Unlike many traditional Chinese restaurants, only small amount of oil is used rather than immerses in a bloody greasy oil bath.
