It was a rainy day and we were looking for a bar to chill and talk, so we came here. They offer a variety of skewers. Tbh, the feeling of eating hot skewers was really nice in such shivering rain day, you guys should try next time!
First and most important, the must order items are the OX TONGUE ($33), they cut it in thick size which grilled with heavy beef flavour. So nice that we kept ordering and ordering… The lamp chop ($39) was season with cumin, well done was just perfect enough. For other nice meat skewers: roasted pork jowl ($22), Hakatu chicken heart ($33), chicken liver ($29) and roasted duck breast ($23)
Second highly recommend item is the grilling crab miso on shell ($48), the crab paste with umami flavour was just satisfying!! We also liked the razor clam with garlic ($98), the meat was chewy and freshly sweet! Don’t miss their grilled egg plant ($35) as it was well seasoned with garlic as well!
Just grab 2 beers like us - kirin ichiban in black currant/ Osmanthus ($82; HH:$72), refreshing beer with light sweetening flavour and order a huge plate of skewers, which is a good way to spend the night!
