My friends booked Applegreen for my birthday Thanks so much gals!This is my second visit to TST branch and the overall experience was nice.We booked the 8:30pm slot to avoid the time limit pressure. The chicken wings taste pretty nice, except that they really assemble the Chinese sweet-and-sour dish (like糖醋排骨).For salad, I used to order Sesame orange chicken as I love the sesame ginger dressing. This time my friend recommends the Green goddess salad, with crab meat, avocado, cucumber and lemon cream dressing.
Love the fresh avocado and the well-seasoned crab meat.
For main dish, we ordered the Carbonara with shrimp. Smooth cream sauce but the dish cool down light-speed fast. Tips: Don’t order the pasta until you have finished the salad, or else you would be eating some steel-wire like noodles.Last but not least, dessert! Sweet tooth like us won’t be satisfied with just one choice. So we ordered the platter called Applegreen signature sampler.
Highly recommend the flan (like crème brûlée but without the hard caramel top). It’s creamy and sweet and full of flavour. The caramel apple turnover looks cool and I love the cinnamon filling. However the Coconut macaroon is a disaster. Both the texture and taste are awful... The platter would be perfect if the macaroon is replaced by some shortcake!Overall the dinner is satisfying and I had a great time catching up with friends
