This restaurant was actually recommended by a friend from Canada, whose friends are the proprietors.Arrived there at about 7pm on a Friday evening without reservation but was duly shown to one of the many empty tables in the restaurant. To one side is a bar/lounge, taking up about 25% of the entire floor area. The restaurant per se is actually quite pleasant with tables widely spaced and commands a nice view of the area (a little away from the crowds of Lan Kwai Fong). No complaints there as

Arrived there at about 7pm on a Friday evening without reservation but was duly shown to one of the many empty tables in the restaurant. To one side is a bar/lounge, taking up about 25% of the entire floor area. The restaurant per se is actually quite pleasant with tables widely spaced and commands a nice view of the area (a little away from the crowds of Lan Kwai Fong). No complaints there as the decor points to that of a high-end eatery.

Service, if the waitresses saw us, was attentive and pleasant. Given that this was newly opened and that it was almost empty, I would have expected the waiting staff to be a little more sharp and energetic. Perhaps it was only a teething problem, perhaps it's not.

As we opted for a non-meat dinner, we opted for a variety of veggy and fish dishes. The appetizer potato salad was very impressive, gently seasoned with plenty of flavours. The fish tikka was a bit bland to our liking, with neither the freshness nor the seasoning that dish should possess. Then came the vegetarian tandoori, the rice was a bit soggy and devoid of flavour - as good as a fried rice from a third grade chinese restaurant. The naan bread was both oily and soggy.

All in all, the quality of the food and the service both need a bit of retuning. For Indian cuisine in that price range, I would have expected something more.
