Drinks: I was in the mood for something with a bit of a kick so I kicked off my Brunch with a Bloody Mary. I have to say that it is not often that I have Bloody Mary’s that I enjoy and this one was exactly the way I like. Unlike the usual watery ones I am use to in HK with hardly any vodka!
Starter: I thought that the range of choices for starters were good however they could probably add a few more things there. I ordered the King Scallop Ceviche. It was fresh & strongly flavoured which is how I like it.
Main: My friend who religiously had been telling me to try the Truffled Mac and Cheese or the RED Reuben. However I couldn’t face trying either this early in the day so I settled for the RED Big Breakfast instead. I have to say it was hearty & warm to have a home style cooked breakfast that reminded me of the great breakfasts I had back home. Above all, it was the perfect cure for my hangover.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to RED SoHo and am glad I finally tried it out. I think next time I will check out dinner so I can try some of the other the hearty dishes that they have to offer. The staff & service are also very friendly and add to the easy going vibe of the place.
