I was in Hong Kong for a vacation. I read from magazine on the introduction of the craze of Hainan Chicken Rice in Hong Kong. I decided to pop-by Hainan Shaoye, bracing myself to queue for 3 hours in order to savour their renowned chicken rice.To my surprise, there was not queue when I arrived there. There was only a few customers in the restaurant. The restaurant looked classy enough and the price was exorbitant.The portion of the food was generous but the rice was bland, the chicken was tastel
To my surprise, there was not queue when I arrived there. There was only a few customers in the restaurant. The restaurant looked classy enough and the price was exorbitant.
The portion of the food was generous but the rice was bland, the chicken was tasteless and the soup was full of MSG. My friend and I could not bring ourselves to stomach such unappettising food and asked for the bill before completing them.
I hope that the restaurant can treat customers with respect and don't treat us like any layman who does not appreciate food.
