I came here once at 12ish but it was so crowded so I got the chicken rice takeout. It was so appealing that my coworkers had to ask where I got the takeout!Today I had my morning off and decided to come here for an early lunch before work. Arriving at 11:50am, there were only 3-4 tables occupied. Today I had my morning off and decided to come here for an early lunch before work. Arriving at 11:50am, there were only 3-4 tables occupied. Quickly ordered the Hainanese Chicken rice lunch set and it came within 10 mins.
As shown, the portion of chicken is real big, almost half a chicken. They were boneless and very flavourful. The cucumbers are a nice add to the dish, and the sauces were all very perfect with no complaints. The rice has a light oil coating - and I can also taste the chicken in it. The surprise came when I lifted the lid for the soup - there were winter melon and a small slice of corn. Soup was just half full but it was a nice finish to my meal because I was already very full.When 12:30pm passed, the whole place was already packed. I took the time to finish my water (which was brought to me very promptly when I asked for it) and no one rushed me. I asked for the bill before cut off time and the waitress gave me this coupon for a free dish next time during dinner here or its other sister store - Kitchen 65 in TST
