My second visit, first visit was around the same time, 5pm on weekday. It's fairly empty, no lineups, just the way i like it!And I personally like restaurants that aren't so full of it and serve only like 12 - 2pm and 6 to 10pm... or like the one in wanchai that serve 3 hours lunch and 3 hours dinner OR until their soup base runs out (sold out).Why I came back for round 2, because i LOVE their soup base. It's tasty, un-oily, and self-help servings of REAL garlic bits. Not garlic paste, not garli

Why I came back for round 2, because i LOVE their soup base. It's tasty, un-oily, and self-help servings of REAL garlic bits. Not garlic paste, not garlic crumbs, but garlic BITS.
My first visit I tried their regular one $68. This time went up the scale and got the black sesame one.
This is the vegetarian version. I didn't want meat, so waitress offered to give me more onions and bamboos. Can I say I love you? And the egg on top was $12 extra. That's fine.
Here is the spoonful of garlic bits that I added. It is awweeesome!! I love it. Absolutely love it.

Post-satisfaction pic: see? no oil. no fat. all ingredients blended together of a soup base.I don't really cook.. I don't know if this is a good thing, maybe theres some chemical effect or cooking technique to make a soup base look this pure and real. But my naiveness tells me I would be back for a 3rd, 4th, 5th,.. 10th time - because of the soup base and the GARLIC.
If someone knows why its non-oily.. maybe not real tonkotsu/pork bone? Please let me know so I don't need to save $ for my 3rd 4th 5th visits...I used their washroom. It's at the back of the restaurant in the back alley, and its mad dirty. Don't go unless you don't have any other options.
