The shack burger was amazing. Although it is not marketed on the “gourmet” range. The patty seems less processed than your regular, value for money, fast food burger places. The meat is juicy and delicious and the buns are buttery and moist throughout.
I think I prefer the single patty though – I felt that the double patty was too much meat to bun ratio and all I could taste was the meat patty.
The cheese fries are best eaten hot and melty – I’m a sucker for “childhood” shiny cheese. I made a dent in the fries since the double patty was a bit too filling for me!
If you're there on a weekday, it's a good idea to go earlier (before 12pm) to avoid waiting.
