I went for the lunch buffet with my family. We were quickly seated to a spacious place that was comfortable and wasn't far from the appetizers, drinks and desserts area. The environment was clean, cozy and not blaring with loud music like most Japanese buffet restaurants do. The service was quick and the staff was friendly. Carol (#69) was the main server we encountered that day. Her personality was pleasant and she was a good communicator (very useful if you speak in English). As we soon found
The service was quick and the staff was friendly. Carol (#69) was the main server we encountered that day. Her personality was pleasant and she was a good communicator (very useful if you speak in English). As we soon found out later, most of the staff were capable of communicating in English and were very accommodating.
Our food was delicious (see pictures). Our top favorites were: the salmon belly with curry sauce sushi, mango and shrimp cutlet sushi, and the baked scallop. Everything tasted great, although I wish we could've tasted the soft shell crab and lobster sushi. Nonetheless, we decided not to try and order again as we knew that we would be back to eat there soon!
This sushi buffet experience was a positive one. Not only were there a variety of the dishes but also, they were all executed with high quality ingredients and expertise. Some Japanese restaurants will offer some of the most unusual things or even promise expensive treats but deliver them without finesse. Manya Japanese Restaurant in my opinion has lived up to its selling point which is to offer the 'Best Buffet Experience with Top Chefs and Finest Ingredients'.
Keep up the great work and thank you for the best sushi experience to my family to celebrate the 'Day After Mid-Autumn Festival'
