The sides of the egg "brick" was lightly seared so as to give the egg a firm shape. The white bread was slightly dry and stale compared to the laudable contents between them. The baked custard was crusty and not too sweet, but wasn't exactly impressionable. The green tea cookie was good though; the fragrance and the flavour was authentic, not too sweet and quite crunchy.
Unfortunately the service left much to be desired for; even though I was smart enough to call and reserve the egg sandwiches, when I arrived the store first mixed up my order and then sold one of my sandwiches to another customer. The staff was eager enough to remedy their mistake and offered a discount - though to me it posed some trouble as I needed to buy more food to feed my friends.
Whether it's worth this kind of worship and queue for a 58-dollar sandwich depends on one's values, I suppose.
