We arrived at the restaurant at around 6:30pm. It seemed pretty empty at the time. Therefore, we could clearly see how the restaurant looked - it was elegant and endearingly-furnished. The ambiance was really niceBefore we even ate anything, we just couldn't help but notice how CUTE their plates looked! I mean, a cute pig that tells you to save food? Yas! Now let me tell you what dishes we got!
(1) FLYING BANGERS & MASH $168 - This dish was basically a sausage platter with bacons and mashed potatoes. It was okay, nothing too impressive, but i liked it.
(3) Salmon Papperdella - $168 - This one was the chef's special. And I simply adored it. The portion was big and it tasted delicious. It was sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
(4) NZ Lamb Chop - $248 - The lamb chop was very tender and perfectly cooked. The waiter recommended medium and it was just fine.
We had a lovely time eating here. Waiters were absolutely nice and food quality was satisfactory. Strongly recommend the Flying Pig Bistro!
