Lunch today with the girls at ocean terminal. Suddenly realized it’s their bday month. Must celebrate with them. The closest cake shop to the restaurant was this one. I’ve always wanted to try. For the larger cakes, what they had on display was the pineapple bun, lemon tea and the thousand year old cake. I picked the lemon tea since my gfs were both KOL wannabes n this cake was the most IG worthy. Since I didn’t order in advance the shop couldn’t write their names. After lunch, the waiter brough
Lunch today with the girls at ocean terminal. Suddenly realized it’s their bday month. Must celebrate with them. The closest cake shop to the restaurant was this one. I’ve always wanted to try. For the larger cakes, what they had on display was the pineapple bun, lemon tea and the thousand year old cake. I picked the lemon tea since my gfs were both KOL wannabes n this cake was the most IG worthy. Since I didn’t order in advance the shop couldn’t write their names. After lunch, the waiter brought out the cake. They were so surprised! (I’m also surprised they’ve never heard of this cake shop before.) The nice waiters gave them some straws to pose, took about 10000 photos for them. Normally not a fan of earl grey or cakes in general, I was also pleasantly surprised by the taste. Just the right amount of sweetness; tea flavor not too strong, very balanced. In summary, would def get this cake again for bday celebrations.
