i am a frequent visitor to the spaghetti house - but not this branch.usually i go to the one at jordan, which shows professional and attentive services, and provides delicious pasta and pizzas.last nite as i had a personal appointment nearby, i decided to try the spaghetti house at apm - i really love its pasta and pizzas, yummy!but it turned out i'm wrong - no guarantee even under the same brand.together with a friend we tried a bank promotion set: - lobster soup: not thick enough in texture, q

last nite as i had a personal appointment nearby, i decided to try the spaghetti house at apm - i really love its pasta and pizzas, yummy!
but it turned out i'm wrong - no guarantee even under the same brand.
together with a friend we tried a bank promotion set:
- lobster soup: not thick enough in texture, quite watery. taste was plain and thin. much better after adding a few drops of tabasco.
- jumbo pizza: i couldn't smell/taste a trace of cheese favor, not hot enough (might be due to the super strong air cond), pale taste...
- angel hair w/ lobster sauce: winner of tonite!!! too little sauce, the angel hair sticked together, sauce smelled a bit 臭...
- red bean ice drink: hoho, they created a new definition for red bean ice. the red beans - or i should call it red bean paste - clumped at the bottom of the glass, top with very very strong favor of evaporated milk / coconut juice (tasted lilke evaporate milk for me but my friend said it's coconut juice). i mean, too strong, the mix of sugary water / milk / coconut juice was wrong. a weird drink, we couldn't finish it.
and waiters were not attentive and.. not sure if it's related to the geographic difference? here at apm, a mall targeted at the younger generations, so the whole crew has to reflect this as well? or related to demographic reason - the jordan branch has many gweilo visitors.
we found our plates had some food residues near the edge and asked for changing new ones - the waitress told us "the scratch marks are normal" - yes we saw there're scratch marks over the plates and we understood it's normal after a period of usage - and yet the first time being rejected of exchanging for a new plate. we pointed to her the dirt on the plates and later got new ones.
it was a full house nite, with a few lined up outside the restaurant. may be we ordered the wrong dishes?????????????? +_+
without comparison, i'd only say it's bad. but with my frequent visits to another branch at jordan as a benchmark, i'd say this one dinner is awful... 真的很難食... >.<
i won't return to this branch again.... never....
