I ordered the "Yuze Grilled Salmon Tsukemen". For only $138, I got a whole plate of "dipping noodles" with a whole piece of grilled salmon cutlet, which is a total steal! The sauce/broth for dipping was the typical rich, savoury dipping sauce with yuzu/ citrus peels mixed in to give it that sweet and slightly tangy flavour, which complimented the grilled salmon very well. The slice of lime offered was also a nice addition to the salmon. I chose to have the thick noodles cold and they were chewy
My friend ordered the "Tsukemen with Pork Thick Soup". The egg with its runny yolk was a clear win! The slices of pork were tender and flavourful. The noodles were flavoured with spring onions which enhanced the aroma of the dish. We also ordered Octopus Balls as a side dish. They were made and served fresh and thus hot when they arrived at our table. They were petite but tasted real good! The inside of the balls were gooey with small pieces of squid to give it more texture, just how I like it.
The service was excellent and the restaurant environment was very comfortable. We had a lovely and filling meal.
