In boyfriend's neck of the woods, we were in Lok Fu Plaza for a quiet dinner out. The mall had undergone a mini renovation with a number of new restaurants. I decided to go with a rice bowl of yakitori chicken ($38). This was not that good. A lot of rice was provided but the chicken was a bit bland with the sauce just sadly layered on top and not fully coated. It didn't look like the photo at all.
Boyfriend had the udon hotpot with miso oden stew ($58). This was placed on top of an open flame hot pot that wasn't too sturdy as the pot was a bit too big for the holder and tended to rock. But the flame went away very quickly so we ddn't have to worry about it much. The udon was soggy ano not that good. The fish cakes didn't have much fih taste and just tasted a lot like flour.
Prices were not expensive at all but the food wasn't very good. Definitely won't be back.
