Horrid manager experience - never again!

While the general waiting staff were pleasant and professional, we had a horrid experience with the restaurant manager. Upon receiving a dessert platter that looked NOTHING like the picture in the menu so we complained. The staff, then manager advised the picture was for general reference only and that they were free to include whatever they wanted on the platter. An argument ensued as to the visible differences. While the general waiting staff were pleasant and professional, we had a horrid experience with the restaurant manager. Upon receiving a dessert platter that looked NOTHING like the picture in the menu so we complained. The staff, then manager advised the picture was for general reference only and that they were free to include whatever they wanted on the platter. An argument ensued as to the visible differences. The restaurant manager was very rude, argumentative, with no interest in meeting customer expectations - let alone his own advertisement in the menu. This re-inforced his earlier actions when he dismissed a request that vegetarian dishes be highlighted to assist one of our diners. Apart from 2-3 pure vegetable dishes, apparently meat is simply removed from other pre-prepared standard dishes and then called 'vegetarian'!. Never again.
